About the position

The Database Developer role is a challenging position within the healthcare, hospitals, and social assistance industry, based in Jacksonville, Florida. This position is crucial for the development, testing, deployment, and ongoing support of data interfaces and integration solutions that are vital to both business and clinical systems. The role requires a unique set of skills to ensure the smooth operation of these systems, making it integral to the organization's success.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze, develop, and test data interfaces and associated integration solutions for both business and clinical systems.
  • Monitor and provide ongoing support for existing integration solutions, implementing modifications as necessary.
  • Manage system administration tasks for various integration tools, including performance tuning, system monitoring, problem investigation, and application upgrades.
  • Participate in resolving complex technical issues through debugging, research, and investigation.
  • Assist in project management tasks as required, including coordinating project plan activities and ensuring effective communication between project team members.
  • Suggest changes or enhancements to existing products as required to support the business and clinical integration strategy.
  • Adhere to normal change control processes for system modifications and upgrades.
  • Utilize cloud technologies, databases, and business intelligence tools to enhance system performance and functionality.
  • Leverage experience with Health Level Seven (HL7) and Epic Software to improve integration solutions.
  • Proactively identify process and procedural issues, suggest potential solutions, and engage teammates or other teams as required.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of Cloud Technologies, including Cloud ERP.
  • Proficiency in Database and Database Object management.
  • Understanding of EO/IR systems and Informatica is advantageous.
  • Experience in AB Testing is required.
  • Familiarity with Business Intelligence (BI) and ability to create Business Requirement Documents.
  • Ability to create dashboards and work with Data Warehousing is necessary.
  • Knowledge of Epic Software in a healthcare setting is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with Health Level Seven (HL7) standards is expected.
  • Ability to work in a healthcare, hospital, and social assistance environment.
