About the position

The Database Developer/Analyst at Mountain Park Health Center is responsible for developing and producing standard and ad hoc reports, analyzing data to monitor and predict service utilization, and collaborating with staff to ensure timely delivery of data visualizations. This role requires strong technical skills to understand complex business requirements, develop data models, and perform data analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Acquire data from various sources and perform analysis, interpretation, and synthesis of data.
  • Optimize SQL statements using Microsoft SQL Server, SSMS, and Transact SQL stored procedures.
  • Perform in-depth data analysis, modeling, and administration tasks on complex data integration scenarios.
  • Develop SQL procedures, triggers, views, functions, and reports to enhance SQL-based business systems.
  • Work with non-IT users to develop reports and dashboards for internal customers.
  • Monitor database backups, recovery, SQL query optimization, index management, and system performance.
  • Design and implement new solutions and improve existing code for efficient reporting.
  • Develop charts and insights using Advanced Microsoft Excel functions.
  • Design database architecture and data models, test enhancements, and workflow reports.
  • Maintain data reliability, eliminate redundancy, and streamline reporting procedures.
  • Participate in data collection processes to ensure data accuracy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Healthcare Informatics, or related field.
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in SQL Server (SSMS, SSIS, SSRS) and T-SQL data manipulation.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Experience working in a data warehouse environment.
  • Experience with PowerBI or similar Business Intelligence tools.
  • Experience in HealthCare EHR/EMR systems, SharePoint, or Office 365.
