About the position

CGI Federal is seeking experienced Database Developers with an active Top-Secret clearance to support a significant project for a federal government client. The role involves designing and developing data architecture and ETL dataflows that are crucial for enterprise risk management, analytics, and reporting. The Database Developers will be responsible for providing production support from development teams for existing systems, troubleshooting data and system issues, and identifying root causes to resolve data-related problems. This position is based in Huntsville, Alabama, and requires US citizenship due to the nature of the government contract. In this role, you will be tasked with designing and developing Pega BPM applications, writing database PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, and triggers, and implementing and maintaining the database design. You will also create database objects such as tables and indexes, assist team members including Developers, QA, and DevOps with database activities, and tune database queries for optimal performance. Additionally, you will troubleshoot application issues, coding bugs, and bottlenecks, conduct system performance tests, and maintain the security of all system applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in database development and a proven track record of working with various technologies including Vue.js, .NET, Postgres, and Oracle DB. Experience with AWS CloudFormation and maintenance of geospatial applications such as ESRI ArcGIS and Geoserver is also essential. You will be expected to take responsibility for quarterly OpenStreetMap refresh and deployment, MongoDB, and ElasticSearch geospatial repository development, along with performance tuning. Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Active Top-Secret clearance.
  • Experience with Vue.js, .NET, Postgres, and Oracle DB.
  • Familiarity with AWS CloudFormation.
  • Experience in maintaining geospatial applications such as ESRI ArcGIS and Geoserver.
  • Experience with MongoDB and ElasticSearch geospatial repository development.
  • Proficiency in AngularJS, BootstrapVue, Chart.js, CoordinateSharp, D3.js, jQuery, jTable, and Leaflet.JS.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft .NET 4.6 Framework and Microsoft .NET 8 Framework.
  • Experience with Newtonsoft Json.net0, NGA GeoTrans modules, PDFSharp, and Telerik.

Nice-to-haves
