About the position

As a Database Developer, your primary focus will be on designing and creating data solutions in a polyglot database environment. You will be responsible for providing creative solutions to ETL challenges and data integrations through APIs. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in designing, supporting, and maintaining OLTP environments to facilitate our development processes. This role will require you to work with various technologies, always advocating for the most suitable tools for the specific task at hand. You will be part of a growing team of data professionals, collaborating on complex data problems and architecting innovative solutions. Your contributions will be vital in ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of our data operations, and you will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Create innovative data solutions within a polyglot database environment.
• Develop unique approaches to ETL solutions and API data integrations.
• Design, support, and maintain OLTP environments for all development.
• Champion the use of the right technology for the task, while utilizing a range of different technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience).
• 4+ years of experience in relational database development or administration, with preference given to experience in MSSQL or Oracle.
• 1+ years of experience in developing or architecting with NoSQL technologies.
• 2+ years of experience in developing with .Net or Python is a plus.
• 1+ year of experience in developing with APIs and/or Microservices is a plus.
• Knowledge of the automotive industry is a bonus.
