We are seeking a talented, forward-thinking Database Developer to join our Navy Readiness Reporting Enterprise (NRRE) team. You will be joining an active team with a great culture of collaboration. The Navy Readiness Reporting Enterprise (NRRE) team develops and maintains software applications supporting U.S. Navy readiness reporting and management. As a key member of our team, your contributions will be instrumental to our team's success. You will be responsible for taking the lead on major database development tasks, as well as mentoring and coaching your development peers. The ideal candidate will possess a variety of current database and report-building technology skills, be open-minded to learning new technologies. As a developer, you will be responsible for daily development activities, including but not limited to analyzing requirements, designing and developing software solutions, writing unit tests, and participating in code reviews. You must be a self-starter and a strong problem solver who is willing to leverage and share your expertise while learning new technologies. In this role, you can expect to split your time between our company office in Norfolk and the Naval Support Activity Hampton Roads where our system access point is located.
