About the position

The Database Developer role at CLA involves designing, implementing, and maintaining SQL Server databases on the Azure Cloud platform. This position is crucial for ensuring database security, reliability, and efficiency, while also collaborating with software developers and stakeholders to meet their needs. Responsibilities

• Develop, design, and maintain complex SQL Server databases, including schemas, tables, indexes, views, and stored procedures.
• Create and optimize complex SQL queries, including writing stored procedures and functions.
• Manage database security and access control, developing and implementing security policies and procedures.
• Perform database backups and implement disaster recovery plans.
• Identify and troubleshoot database issues and performance problems, analyzing performance metrics and tuning databases.
• Collaborate with software developers and stakeholders to ensure databases meet their needs.
• Stay up-to-date with new technologies, features, and trends by working with database vendors.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in SQL Server development on the Azure Cloud platform.
• Bachelor's degree or a combination of relevant experience and training may be considered in lieu of a degree.
