The position involves planning, designing, and coordinating the implementation of advanced software applications and modules within complex web-based systems. The successful candidate will execute schema design, data organization, and database development using various versions of Oracle SQL and PL/SQL programming. This role requires performing query tuning for large Online Transaction Processing (OLTP) and data warehouse systems, utilizing Relational Database Management System (RDBMS) database development on both Windows and Linux platforms, including DB2, SQL Server, Postgres, and MySQL. The candidate will also be responsible for optimizing query performance through techniques such as optimizer HINTS, appropriate indexing, parallel querying, and partitioning strategies. In addition, the role includes implementing AWS Services such as EC2, S3, DMS, SCT, RDS, and Aurora. The candidate will execute database migration between different platforms and migrate PL/SQL stored procedures, functions, triggers, and packages to Azure SQL, employing optimization techniques like ref-cursors and merge statements. Developing and implementing T-SQL scripts for data validations and loading is also a key responsibility. The candidate will build ETL pipelines, manage incremental loads, and conduct data quality checks. Furthermore, the development of PLSQL objects, including stored procedures, functions, triggers, packages, and cursors, is expected.
