About the position
Concept Plus is seeking a Database Administrator/Engineer to support our Healthcare & Federal Civilian team in Rockville, MD.
Responsibilities
- Monitor, maintain, tune and perform routine database administration tasks for SQL Server and Oracle Databases
- Ensure backups and recovery scripts and processes are working correctly
- Apply patches, analyze IAVAs, perform break fix analysis
- Perform analysis of indexes, table structures, data usage
- Design new tables, indexes, tables per customer requirements and development need
- Use Jira, ServiceNow as required
- Develops and maintains security of databases
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience
- Experience with Oracle and SQL Server
- Prior experience with NIH CIT BAS Systems
- Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with NIH ITAS, NED, SAAVI, NEES Systems
