About The Position

The Database Analyst Senior role involves providing technical expertise in database design, development, implementation, and data analysis. The position requires the development of relational and/or Object-Oriented databases, along with database parser and loading software. The analyst will be responsible for ensuring that the database structure aligns with the overall system architecture while considering various factors such as data volumes, user numbers, and security controls. This role supports the entire lifecycle of database requirements from inception to operational capability, focusing on optimizing and improving database systems.

Requirements

• 5+ years of related experience in database management and design.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university (or equivalent experience).
• US Citizenship is required.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Cloud methodologies for database storage and retrieval.
• Familiarity with Open Database Connectivity (ODBC).

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise for database design, development, implementation, and data analysis.
• Develop relational and/or Object-Oriented databases and associated software.
• Project long-range requirements for database administration and design.
• Develop a database structure that fits into the overall architecture of the system under development.
• Assist with recommendations for system improvements and optimizations.
• Translate requirements and data into usable documents by creating queries, scripts, and macros.
• Lead the development of database structures and software.
• Direct the overall database structure and ensure it meets various operational requirements.
