About the position

The Oracle DBA position at Apex Systems involves working as part of an Oracle Horizontal Team to support the organization from an Oracle standpoint. The role focuses on feature development and assisting development teams with their Oracle needs, while also interacting with operations teams for DevOps and monitoring tasks.

Responsibilities

• Support the organization in an Oracle standpoint as part of the Oracle Horizontal Team.
• Assist development teams with their Oracle needs and feature development.
• Interact with operations teams for DevOps and monitoring tasks.

Requirements

• Experience as an Oracle DBA with a strong understanding of Oracle databases.
• Proficiency in Python for coding and automation tasks.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and Redis Clusters.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, cloud technologies, and Linux environments.
• Experience working with large data sets, specifically 2-3 petabytes.

Nice-to-haves

• Exposure to DevOps practices and monitoring tools.
• Experience with feature development and design discussions with internal users.
