About the position

The Database Management Analyst position at ASRC Federal involves providing database solutions to address complex business challenges, including data processing, performance improvements, and data storage. The role requires managing and organizing documents across various Navy and Marine Corps portfolios, conducting user training, and overseeing content administration operations. The analyst will also participate in SharePoint Online clean-up efforts and train end-users on various Microsoft platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Provide database solutions to solve complex business issues.
  • Collect, organize, and manage multiple documents across Navy and Marine Corps portfolios.
  • Conduct daily operations of content administration, including user training and workflow planning.
  • Oversee permission access and conduct routine scans for policy compliance.
  • Participate in Digital SharePoint Online and Knowledge Management clean-up.
  • Train end-users on SharePoint Online, MS Teams, MS Planner, Office 365, OneDrive, and Power Platform Business Intelligence.
  • Create a Business Central Model to improve temporary file storage.
  • Manage and administer daily content usage and provide SharePoint Program Support.
  • Gather requirements and information for minimally documented processes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to adapt configurations based on changing priorities.
  • Provide end-user support and training on document libraries and permissions.
  • Recommend best practices for SharePoint portal technology procedures.
  • Collaborate with SharePoint developers for portal operations and migration support.
  • Provide customization using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML, XSLT, JSON, and jQuery.
  • Create and maintain Team dashboards and monitor Service Now Systems.
  • Streamline PEO DES and local client SharePoint Hub(s).
  • Assist with the creation of automated systems and tools for onboarding and account access.
  • Assist with Kanban Boards and SharePoint integration updates.
  • May oversee efforts of less senior staff.

Requirements

  • At least five (5) years of relevant work experience.
  • Skill in analytical, critical thinking, and data mining.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Experience using Microsoft Platforms including Power Automate, Power Apps, and Power BI.
  • Experience with Microsoft InfoPath and NINTEX Workflow tools with SharePoint.
  • Experience supporting SharePoint Online migrations including planning and UAT.
  • Strong understanding of SharePoint 2013/SPO features and best practices.
  • Working knowledge of web design UI/UX and project management processes.
  • Knowledge of enterprise portal technologies.
  • Strong IT skills and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to learn and apply technical concepts to assigned duties.
  • Ability to analyze data from multiple sources to address business problems.
  • Must be a US Citizen.
