About the position

The Senior Database Management Analyst at ASRC Federal is responsible for providing database solutions to address complex business challenges, including data processing, performance improvements, and data storage. This role involves managing and organizing documents across various Navy and Marine Corps portfolios, conducting user training, and overseeing content administration operations. The analyst will also participate in the cleanup of SharePoint sites and provide end-user support for various Microsoft applications.

Responsibilities

  • Provide database solutions to solve complex business issues.
  • Collect, organize, and manage documents across Navy and Marine Corps portfolios.
  • Conduct daily operations of content administration, including user training and workflow planning.
  • Oversee permission access and conduct routine scans for policy compliance.
  • Participate in the cleanup of SharePoint Online and Knowledge Management sites.
  • Train end-users on various Microsoft applications including SharePoint Online, MS Teams, and Power Platform.
  • Create a Business Central Model to improve file storage architecture.
  • Manage and administer daily content usage and provide SharePoint Program Support.
  • Gather requirements and adapt configurations based on business needs.
  • Provide end-user support and training on document libraries and permissions.
  • Recommend best practices for SharePoint portal technology procedures.
  • Collaborate with SharePoint developers for portal operations and migrations.
  • Create and maintain Team dashboards and monitor Service Now Systems.
  • Assist with the creation of automated systems and tools for onboarding and account access.

Requirements

  • At least five (5) years of relevant work experience.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and data mining skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Experience with Microsoft Platforms including Power Automate, Power Apps, and Power BI.
  • Experience supporting SharePoint Online migrations including planning and UAT.
  • Strong understanding of SharePoint 2013/SPO features and best practices.
  • Working knowledge of web design UI/UX and project management processes.
  • Knowledge of enterprise portal technologies.
  • Strong IT skills and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to learn and apply technical concepts to assigned duties.
  • Ability to analyze data from multiple sources to address business problems.
  • Must be a US Citizen.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Microsoft InfoPath and NINTEX Workflow tools.
  • Knowledge of taxonomy architecture.
