About the position

The Database Manager / Advancement Associate at Moravian Academy plays a crucial role in the Institutional Advancement team, focusing on data management and event coordination. This full-time position serves as a connector within the Advancement Department, facilitating communication and collaboration with various school leaders and departments. The role involves managing the school's data management software and supporting the broader advancement team in their initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate Blackbaud's CORE school information system known as MyMA.
  • Manage Raiser's Edge for the Advancement Office.
  • Conduct prospect research for the Advancement Office.
  • Coordinate acknowledgments of all gifts and gift receipts.
  • Assist with Auction activities related to database management.
  • Act as the liaison to Summerbridge (LVS).
  • Direct the spirit store and manage onsite items and divisional stores.
  • Perform a variety of tasks as the advancement office evolves.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 1-5 years of fundraising and/or development experience.
  • Experience with Raiser's Edge and event planning.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work well with diverse personalities.
