About the position

The Database Manager at Our Lady of Light Family of Parishes is responsible for overseeing the management and maintenance of the parishioner database and online calendar. This full-time role requires a diverse skill set in database administration, reporting, and data analysis, along with managing donor services processes and training staff as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain the parishioner database (eCatholic / Gabriel) and online calendar (CalendarWiz).
  • Perform data extraction and reporting for various needs.
  • Administer the online calendar and ensure it is up to date.
  • Oversee donor services processes including receiving, data entry, thanking, and receipting donations.
  • Train staff and volunteers on database and calendar usage.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in database management and administration.
  • Strong skills in data analysis and reporting.
  • Familiarity with eCatholic / Gabriel and CalendarWiz platforms is preferred.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in a church or non-profit environment.
  • Knowledge of donor management processes.
