About the position

The Database Marketing Analyst at MGM Resorts International is responsible for supporting the financial feasibility of strategic marketing initiatives through accurate and timely reporting. This role involves producing forecasts, reports, and analyses to provide insights and recommendations to marketing leadership, while also championing the MGM Rewards program to promote customer retention.

Responsibilities

  • Produces forecasts, pro-forma and post-forma reports, and ad hoc analyses.
  • Identify and validate criteria requirements for campaigns.
  • Provide and interpret data to produce insights and recommendations to marketing leadership.
  • Identify and analyze crossover trends between segments and properties.
  • Understand and champion the MGM Rewards program and marketing campaigns to promote customer retention.
  • Work with multiple MGM Resorts departments including COEs, Corporate Analytics, Direct Marketing, Brand, and Information Technology.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ Years of Experience in Analytics, Casino Marketing, Database, or related field.
  • Critical thinking skills to interpret complex business problems and analyze marketing campaign results.
  • Interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts.
  • Ability to read and write different SQL database languages.
  • Strong analytical, communication (both written and oral), and interpersonal skills.
  • Outstanding organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of the casino industry including administrative, marketing, casino operations, gaming regulations, and employee relations.
  • Knowledge of multiple systems that support business objectives, specifically SQL Server, Opera, campaign management software, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to use clear judgment in decision making.
