About the position

The Database Marketing Manager is responsible for overseeing the strategic and operational activities of the Database Marketing department. This role focuses on developing and implementing revenue-generating database marketing programs aimed at attracting and retaining customers profitably. The manager will ensure the growth of gaming revenues through effective execution of database marketing strategies and oversee all aspects of database management, including data analysis and customer segmentation.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the strategic planning and execution of database marketing programs.
  • Ensure the growth of gaming revenues through effective database marketing strategies.
  • Manage the production of direct mail and email communications and offer setups.
  • Create offers, select audiences, and generate customer segments for marketing campaigns.
  • Act as the Property Secured Data User, ensuring the security of restricted lists and reports.
  • Analyze marketing efforts pre and post-campaign using company-specific database programs.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of property special events and promotions.
  • Maintain clean and consistent patron information across various systems.
  • Support internal communications and maintain brand standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, STEM, or equivalent experience.
  • 5 years of experience in database marketing or related field.
  • 3 years of supervisory experience in database management.
  • Proficient in SQL and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access).
  • Experience in developing collateral and direct mail material.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and get along with co-workers.
  • Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to react to changing business demands.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with statistical modeling and data analysis.
  • Familiarity with CIM and Cognos software.
