About the position

The Senior Database Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing direct marketing initiatives, including traditional mail, email, and SMS campaigns. This role involves managing the health of the database, conducting quantitative analysis related to marketing efforts, and ensuring compliance with policies. The manager will also oversee vendor relationships and lead a small team to maintain a productive work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all direct mail campaigns including development of list criteria, quality control of lists, proofs, printing, and mailing.
  • Maintain relationships with affiliated departments such as advertising, operations, finance, and information technology.
  • Ensure the health of the database by maximizing profitability of its segments and developing initiatives to grow the database.
  • Conduct pre and post-campaign analysis of all marketing initiatives and provide recommendations for change based on data.
  • Manage vendor relationships to minimize costs while maximizing quality.
  • Develop and maintain compliance-related policies.
  • Manage departmental staff to ensure a healthy and productive work environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as business administration, finance, economics, math, or statistics.
  • 5-7 years of relevant experience in database marketing or related fields.
  • In-depth knowledge of casino operations and technical environments.
  • Demonstrated technical skills in SQL, Access, and Excel.
