About the position

The Database Marketing Manager will lead the development and implementation of database marketing strategies aimed at enhancing member engagement, retention, and acquisition. This role involves collaborating with the Go-To-Market Manager and leveraging data analytics to optimize marketing initiatives, driving growth for The Institute of Internal Auditors' global community.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement comprehensive database marketing strategies to enhance customer engagement and retention while driving acquisition efforts.
  • Oversee the maintenance, segmentation, and optimization of the marketing database, ensuring data integrity and compliance with privacy regulations.
  • Plan, execute, and analyze targeted marketing campaigns based on database insights, focusing on lead generation and nurturing strategies.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of database marketing initiatives using key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to align objectives and ensure cohesive messaging across all channels.
  • Manage the technical aspects of database marketing tools and CRM systems to support marketing goals.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in database marketing, recommending and implementing new techniques.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Data Science, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of marketing experience, with a strong focus on database marketing, CRM management, and data analytics.
  • Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, MS Dynamics, HubSpot), marketing automation platforms, and data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Excel).
  • Strong understanding of database management principles, data segmentation strategies, and analytics best practices.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with a proven ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights for marketing strategies.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks effectively, and work under tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and engage various stakeholders.
