About the position

The Database Marketing Manager at Prairie Band Casino & Resort is responsible for managing all aspects of the direct mail program, which includes developing, producing, and analyzing the effectiveness of database-driven marketing initiatives aimed at increasing guest retention and loyalty, particularly among high-value guests. This role involves creating revenue and profitability analysis formats and producing program analyses that contribute to the continuous improvement of the direct marketing program's efficiency and effectiveness. The manager will also be tasked with planning and managing the annual direct marketing budget, ensuring that all marketing efforts align with the company's strategic goals. In addition to overseeing the direct mail programs, the Database Marketing Manager will monitor the profitability of existing programs, such as the bus program, and identify opportunities for profitable growth. This position requires collaboration with advertising and public relations agencies to ensure quality and productivity in marketing efforts. The manager will be responsible for creating and executing property-wide communication systems, ensuring that all marketing messages are consistent and effective. Furthermore, the role includes developing and gaining approval for the annual marketing services plan and corresponding budgets, acting as a role model for other team members, and promoting a positive image of Prairie Band Casino. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational and communication skills, along with extensive experience in campaign management and direct marketing. They will have a proven track record of utilizing guest tracking systems and analysis tools to inform marketing strategies. The Database Marketing Manager will also be expected to demonstrate strong leadership and decision-making skills, maintaining a professional attitude and setting an example for others in the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Plans and administers company direct mail programs and property collateral.
  • Oversees bus program and monitors profitability of the existing line program and identifies opportunity for profitable growth.
  • Works with advertising and public relations agency relationships for quality and productivity.
  • Responsible for creating and consistently executing property-wide communications systems.
  • Develops and gains approval of annual marketing services plan and corresponding budgets.
  • Acts as a role model to other Team Members and always presents oneself as a credit to Prairie Band Casino and encourages others to do the same.

Requirements

  • Four year college degree in marketing or related field, or equivalent experience in related field.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Strong campaign management and direct marketing experience.
  • Extensive experience with guest tracking systems and analysis tools.
  • 5 years of marketing communications skills.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation).
  • Strong leadership and decision skills.
  • Professional attitude, always setting the example.
  • A record of satisfactory performance and reliability in all prior and current employment.
