About the position

The Database Migration Analyst is responsible for overseeing and executing data migration processes, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of data during transitions between systems. This role requires a strong understanding of SQL, relational databases, and data modeling tools, as well as experience with ETL processes. The analyst will work closely with various stakeholders to facilitate smooth data migrations and implement best practices in data management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and execute data migration processes.
• Ensure data integrity and accuracy during migrations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements.
• Utilize SQL to create stored procedures for data manipulation.
• Employ data modeling tools to design and implement data structures.
• Work with ETL tools to facilitate data extraction, transformation, and loading.

Requirements

• 5 years of experience with data migration processes.
• 5 years of experience with SQL and creating stored procedures.
• 3 years of experience with a relational database, such as DB2 or SQL Server.
• 1 year of experience with PostgreSQL.
• 1 year of experience with DBeaver Tool or IBM Data Studio.
• 1 year of experience with Erwin Data Modeling Tool.
• 1 year of experience with Microsoft Windows Server.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) tools such as SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and DB2-LUW export utilities.
• Strong knowledge of Unemployment Insurance (UI) Benefits and Tax.
• Strong knowledge of data mapping process and best practices.
