About the position

The position is part of the Enterprise Service Management development and administration team at the University of Missouri. The primary focus is on developing new features for IT groups and departments using the Enterprise Service Management solution, including the TeamDynamix Client Portal, Ticketing, and Asset applications. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, maintaining system health, and performing routine maintenance, while also participating in Agile development methodologies and collaborating with various campus IT groups.

Responsibilities

  • Develop new features for campus IT groups and departments using the Enterprise Service Management solution.
  • Administer and troubleshoot the TeamDynamix Client Portal, Ticketing, and Asset applications.
  • Complete routine system maintenance and performance monitoring/analysis.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation for system failures and deadlines.
  • Work closely with team members and other departments to identify requirements and prepare solution proposals.
  • Coordinate user acceptance testing and participate in knowledge transfer and documentation development.

Requirements

  • Working knowledge of programming languages, operating systems, text editors, report generators, and database management.
  • Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and code versioning repositories.
  • Experience with server-side frameworks such as Microsoft .NET Core, C#, PowerShell, and SSIS package development.
  • 3+ years of development experience and 5+ years of professional experience.
  • Knowledge of IT Service Management or Enterprise Service Management solutions.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of data modeling concepts and database design techniques.
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and Azure cloud services.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for user training and documentation.
  • Strong documentation, time management, and organizational skills for project management.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Experience with TeamDynamix development and Agile methodologies.
