About the position

As a Database Programmer Analyst at Siltronic Corporation, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex database systems. Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain complex database systems.
• Write and optimize SQL queries and scripts.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as backups and updates.
• Conduct performance tuning and indexing.
• Troubleshoot database issues and diagnose hardware and software problems.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for database structures and projects.
• Create tools for monitoring performance, resource use, and capacity.
• Plan and perform OS and software installations and upgrades.
• Collaborate with developers, analysts, and stakeholders on projects.
• Provide technical support to developers and DBAs.
• Investigate new IT technologies and share knowledge with team members.
• Train support personnel and maintain vendor relations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in database programming and development.
• 3 to 5 years of experience using Oracle and Linux.
• In-depth knowledge of computer hardware and operating systems.
• Understanding of network protocols and devices.
• Proficiency in SQL and multiple database management systems.
• Knowledge of database design principles and Linux development.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in the semiconductor industry.
• Familiarity with PL/SQL.
