About the position

The Database/Social Media Coordinator at Isleta Resort & Casino plays a crucial role in enhancing the marketing efforts through effective database management and social media engagement. This position involves collaborating closely with the database manager to develop, design, execute, and analyze various database marketing programs. These programs include direct mail, email campaigns, mobile applications, and SMS marketing. Additionally, the coordinator is responsible for creating and curating engaging content for the resort's social media platforms, ensuring that the brand's voice is consistent and appealing to the audience. In this role, the coordinator will manage database maintenance and direct mail operations, which includes procuring internal and prospect lists. Analyzing the effectiveness of marketing activities is a key responsibility, as the coordinator will create and analyze reports to track business results and ensure data integrity. The position also requires maintaining a list of management activities, including direct mail list requests and report requests, while performing customer database analysis to segment and target various markets for promotional campaigns. The coordinator will attend events to produce live social media content and analyze player revenue trends using surveys and player frequency information. Staying informed about postal rules and regulations is essential, as is scheduling and overseeing regular data hygiene procedures. Evaluating the effectiveness of social media campaigns comprehensively is also part of the job, along with creating, proofreading, and editing copy for various marketing channels. The coordinator will correspond with vendors and other departments to complete tasks and projects, set up direct marketing programs, and assist the Sr. Director of Marketing as needed. Flexibility in working hours is required, as the coordinator may need to work any days or hours as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Manage database maintenance and direct mail operations, including internal and prospect list procurement.
  • Analyze the effectiveness of all marketing activities, creating and analyzing reports for tracking business results and ensuring data integrity.
  • Maintain a list of management activities, including direct mail list requests, report requests, and query requests.
  • Perform analysis on the customer database to appropriately segment and target various markets for promotional, direct mail, e-mail, and social media campaigns, making recommendations as needed.
  • Attend events and produce live social media content.
  • Analyze player revenue trends using surveys and player frequency information.
  • Stay informed on new or existing postal rules or regulations and their impact on operations, notifying management of any pertinent information.
  • Schedule and oversee regular data hygiene procedures.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of each social media campaign comprehensively.
  • Create, proofread, and edit copy for various marketing channels, ensuring consistent voice and proper grammar.
  • Correspond with vendors, agencies, and other departments as required to complete tasks and projects.
  • Set up direct marketing programs within all promotional systems.
  • Assist the Sr. Director of Marketing as needed.
  • Assist in marketing functions and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) equivalent required.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and Word required.
  • 2 years' experience in database, telemarketing, e-mail campaigns, or related field preferred.
  • 2 years' casino gaming experience preferred, or an equivalent combination of education, experience, and training is accepted.
  • Must acquire and maintain a Gaming License through POIGRA.
  • Pass pre-employment drug test and background investigation.
  • Must maintain all Isleta Resort and Casino-wide educational and certification requirements.
