As a Database Solutions Architect at NavitsPartners, you will play a critical role in the design, implementation, and management of database solutions that meet the needs of our clients. Your primary responsibilities will include installing and managing various database systems, ensuring their operational continuity, and performing necessary upgrades to keep systems up-to-date and secure. You will be tasked with monitoring system performance to proactively identify and address any issues that may arise, ensuring that our database solutions operate at peak efficiency. In addition to system management, you will implement and manage data backup and recovery procedures to safeguard against data loss. Security is paramount in this role; therefore, you will be responsible for securing databases from unauthorized access and potential threats, employing best practices in cybersecurity to protect sensitive information. You will also optimize database queries and overall system performance, ensuring that our solutions are not only functional but also efficient and responsive to user needs. Planning for database storage and capacity will be another key aspect of your role, as you will need to anticipate future growth and ensure that our systems can scale accordingly. Your expertise in Dell and/or VMware technologies will be essential in executing these responsibilities effectively. You will also need to be prepared to travel to client locations as needed, providing on-site support and consultation to ensure that our database solutions align with client expectations and requirements.
