As a Database Solutions Architect at NavitsPartners, you will play a critical role in the design, implementation, and management of database solutions that meet the needs of our clients. Your primary responsibilities will include installing and managing various database systems, ensuring their operational continuity, and performing necessary upgrades to keep systems up-to-date and efficient. You will be tasked with monitoring system performance to proactively identify and address any issues that may arise, ensuring that our database solutions are running smoothly and effectively at all times. In addition to performance monitoring, you will implement and manage data backup and recovery procedures to safeguard our clients' data against loss. Security is paramount in this role; therefore, you will be responsible for securing databases from unauthorized access and potential threats, employing best practices in cybersecurity to protect sensitive information. You will also optimize database queries and overall system performance, ensuring that our solutions are not only functional but also efficient and responsive to user needs. Planning for database storage and capacity will be another key aspect of your role, as you will need to anticipate future growth and ensure that our systems can scale accordingly. Your expertise in Dell and/or VMware technologies will be essential in this position, as will your experience with incident response and a solid background in cybersecurity. This role may require travel to client locations as needed, providing you with the opportunity to engage directly with clients and understand their unique database needs.
