About the position

Outlier is seeking experienced software engineers to contribute their coding expertise in training generative AI models. This freelance position allows for flexible hours and remote work, focusing on crafting questions and evaluating AI-generated code to enhance the performance of AI models.

Responsibilities

• Craft and answer questions related to computer science to assist in training AI models.
• Evaluate and rank code generated by AI models.

Requirements

• Experience in programming languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or C++.
• Currently enrolled in or completed a bachelor's degree or higher in computer science from a selective institution.
• Fluency in English with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly.
• Excellent attention to detail, including grammar, punctuation, and style guidelines.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with AI or machine learning concepts (not required).
