About the position

The Database Systems Analyst position at PPSC is a full-time role focused on supporting the company's system goals through the implementation and operation of internally designed program applications. The analyst will work closely with the Information Systems Director and other staff to maintain and develop databases, assist in report generation, and ensure the smooth operation of the company's IT systems.

Responsibilities

• Support the company's system goals as outlined by leadership.
• Implement and operate internally designed program applications.
• Perform system updates and coordinate installations.
• Maintain an inventory of all hardware, software, and licenses for PCs and servers.
• Assist in multiple types of report generation for various sources.
• Organize and catalog system documentation for easy access and review.
• Support off-site employee laptop, tablet, and telephone requirements.
• Assist in Office 365 user maintenance.

Requirements

• 1 year of experience in MySQL.
• 1 year of experience in database administration.
• 1 year of experience in data analysis skills.
• Functional knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook.
• Knowledge of Crystal Reports and SQL is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

• 1 year of experience in Oracle (preferred).
• Pharmaceutical industry experience.
