The Digital and IT Team lead is responsible for leading and executing IT Infrastructure supporting our Enterprise Database & Storage teams. This role will be part of Parker's Enterprise Data Center Operations team, providing support to Corporate IT and focusing on the continuous improvement of the IT strategic vision and roadmap. This position does have direct reports and works with Division staff and other Corporate IT staff under the direction and guidance of Enterprise management. The role involves supervising project leaders and technical analysts while maintaining operational relationships with vendors and Parker locations. The essential functions of this position include creating standards for IT systems and services to provide flexibility and maintainability, interfacing and aligning with infrastructure teams across the organization, and communicating with internal and external customers to resolve technical and business-related issues. The manager will foster a collaborative and results-oriented work environment, stay abreast of IT infrastructure trends and best practices, and identify deficiencies in IT systems while recommending solutions and improvements. Additionally, the manager will implement and maintain IT systems and services, train and develop staff, provide training materials and education to users, and direct the planning and scheduling of development and implementation of IT capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute IT Infrastructure supporting Enterprise Database & Storage teams.

  • Communicate with internal and external customers to resolve technical and business-related issues.

  • Direct the planning and scheduling of development and implementation of IT capabilities.
  • Provide guidance to employees on personal development needs and opportunities.
  • Provide information to management identifying personnel, hardware and software needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in IS/IT, Business, or related function.
  • 8 or more years' experience in Information Technology.
  • Experience in leading people and projects; project leader experience in this or closely related environment.
  • Demonstrated leadership aptitude, learning agility, and adaptability.
  • Ability to establish own priorities and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Demonstrates ability to manage projects.
  • Excellent writing and verbal communication skills, interpersonal and presentation skills, and the proven ability to influence and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Functional expertise in IT infrastructure and operations.
