About the position

The Data Center Technician at Insight Global is responsible for supporting company-specific servers and assisting with data center buildouts at customer locations. This role requires a blend of technical hardware skills, physical network setup expertise, and strong communication abilities. The technician will also mentor and train other service technicians, create documentation, and contribute to the knowledge library.

Responsibilities

• Support company-specific servers and assist with data center buildouts at customer locations.
• Mentor and train other service technicians in the field.
• Provide feedback and create documentation on technical and non-technical processes.
• Contribute to the knowledge library, including KB Articles and SOPs.
• Lead and drive initiatives to conclusion.

Requirements

• 1+ year of experience in a break-fix position or desktop technician role.
• Experience working in a Data Center with servers is preferred.
• Experience in physically replacing and removing computer components.
• Understanding of command line codes and server access.
• CompTIA A+ certification or equivalent experience.
