Your role will involve system monitoring, routine preventive maintenance, and customer problem tracking, as well as resolving network issues related to client Net and client ON Baseband, IF, and RF Communications, along with the associated backend systems. You will be tasked with System Administration, Network Monitoring and Management, and overseeing new buildouts and existing network changes, ensuring the integrity of IP and system infrastructure maintenance. In this position, you will identify root causes of technical problems and develop both procedural and technical recommendations for improvement. You will also plan and coordinate the implementation of new products into the production environment, monitor system limitations to maximize capacity and efficiency, and perform equipment-level capacity planning and network performance activities. Maintaining equipment inventory and configuration management records, including software releases, patches, and hardware changes, will be essential to your role. You will ensure compliance with applicable Data Center Standards, Service Management Quality Program, and ITIL standards. Your responsibilities will extend to managing escalation and emergency response requests in a 24 x 7 x 365 environment, which may require occasional work during maintenance windows outside of normal working hours. Proactively identifying issues, creating tickets, and following escalation procedures will be crucial to effectively communicate issues to customer service and upper management, while troubleshooting events in a timely manner. Flexibility and adaptability are key, as responsibilities and duties may evolve over time.
