About the position

The Dataflow Systems Engineer - Level 2 at Leidos will be part of the Mission Support Team, focusing on supporting partner dataflows. This role involves understanding stakeholder needs, troubleshooting dataflows, and mapping out new requirements. The engineer will also support deployed customer processing systems, emphasizing system operations, maintenance, and dataflows, while engaging in telecommunications signal and software engineering activities.

Responsibilities

• Support partner dataflows and derive system requirements from stakeholder needs.
• Troubleshoot dataflows and map out new dataflow requirements.
• Support deployed customer processing systems focusing on operations and maintenance.
• Engage in signal processing workflow management and signal data analysis.
• Design and maintain infrastructure, including virtualized environments and encryption configurations.
• Assist in system integration, upgrade, and deployment activities.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
• BS in SE, CS, IS or a related field and 14+ years of related SE experience OR 19+ years of experience without a degree
• Experience with corporate dataflow tools such as PICTUREPOSTCARD, DX, DARKGATEWAY, SPLINTER, Kibana, or DATARUNNER
• Dataflow analysis and troubleshooting skills
• Basic knowledge of NiFi.

Nice-to-haves

• Scripting experience with Perl and Bash.
• Intermediate knowledge of Linux.
• Strong knowledge of corporate dataflow and associated tools.
