As a Datalinks Engineer at Anduril Industries, you will play a crucial role in architecting, designing, integrating, and testing communications networks across various platforms and systems, with a particular focus on Command and Control (C2) Systems. Your work will involve configuring, simulating, and evaluating networking equipment, topologies, systems, and datalinks to ensure optimal performance and reliability. You will be responsible for developing system interconnect diagrams and defining the necessary cables and wire harnesses that connect networking and communications systems. Additionally, you will select and manage vendors for PWAs, cables, connectors, and components, ensuring that all elements meet the high standards required for military applications. Your expertise in the electrical integration of avionics modules and payloads into UAVs, ground vehicles, and weapons systems will be essential as you support other functional engineering teams in their development efforts. You will represent the communications and networking subsystems in vehicle-level cross-disciplinary trade-off studies, helping to define and optimize the design of various vehicles and systems. This position requires a collaborative approach, as you will work closely with other teams to define product requirements, develop specifications, and conduct system-level tests. In this role, you will also need to stay abreast of the latest advancements in aviation communications systems, tactical communication systems, and network security, ensuring that your designs are resilient, redundant, and fault-tolerant. Your ability to troubleshoot and configure networks practically will be vital, as will your knowledge of modern analog and digital electronics and electronic circuits. You will be expected to travel up to 25% of the time and must be able to obtain and hold a U.S. Top Secret security clearance.
