About the position

The Data Warehouse Developer with TIBCO role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining data marts and data warehouse systems, particularly in the insurance industry. The position requires expertise in data modeling, ETL processes, and BI dashboard development, with a strong emphasis on using TIBCO Spotfire and related technologies. The developer will also be responsible for operationalizing predictive models and adhering to application development standards.

Responsibilities

  • Provide recommendations, guidance, and implementation for new data marts and improve existing ones.
  • Participate in data warehouse projects throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Establish best practices and procedures for data modeling design.
  • Create and maintain documentation for all supported data warehouse and data mart processes.
  • Plan, create, modify, maintain, test, and implement code for source system extraction processes, ETL processes, and BI dashboards.
  • Develop and maintain Spotfire systems, including prediction models and automation services.
  • Automate source system data extraction processes and data loading into the data warehouse.
  • Operationalize prediction models and adhere to application development standards.

Requirements

  • 84 months of Data Modeling experience in designing and creating DataMart and Data Warehouse using Star & Snowflake Schemas in the insurance industry.
  • 84 months of experience with designing and implementing ML, Predictive, and AI systems.
  • 84 months of experience with TIBCO Spotfire Analyst and Web Player using Iron Python, Java Scripts, and R.
  • 84 months of experience in developing, documenting, and maintaining end-to-end ETL data pipelines using IBI Data Migrator or similar tools.
  • 24 months of experience in developing data warehouses in the Workers' Compensation Insurance industry.
  • 84 months of experience in Oracle PL/SQL development, including triggers, stored procedures, packages, and advanced query optimization.
  • 48 months of experience in implementing data governance programs with knowledge of data management, data quality, and data lineage.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science.
  • Master's Degree in Computer Science or Data Science.
