The Day Camp Counselor position at the YMCA of Northern Rock County is designed to support the organization's mission of strengthening community through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. Responsibilities
- Implement programming that encourages physical, emotional, and intellectual growth in children.
- Lead classes and activities for campers.
- Ensure a safe and nurturing environment for all participants.
- Attend staff meetings and training sessions as required.
- Obtain additional certifications as requested.
Requirements
- Must be at least 17 years of age.
- Experience in children's programming or education is preferred.
- Knowledge of state licensing and Young Star accreditation requirements is preferred.
