About the position

The Alaka`ina Foundation Family of Companies (FOCs) has a need for a Day Porter/Escorts (General Clerk I) to support our government customer located in Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. This position involves various responsibilities including escorting personnel, light cleaning, and supporting logistics for special events. The role requires adherence to internal and external procedures, maintaining a neat appearance of facilities, and delivering excellent customer service. The Day Porter will also assist in scheduling repairs, maintaining records, and ensuring safety concerns are reported. The position supports the mission and values of the US ARMY.

Responsibilities

• Conduct escort of personnel to various locations throughout the Center.
• Perform light cleaning and shampooing of carpeted areas.
• Support logistics of special events including setup and breakdown.
• Monitor and stay with all escorted parties during events or work performed.
• Assist in maintaining a neat and presentable appearance of facilities.
• Follow directions from Supervisor and Government Leadership, while also working independently and as part of a team.
• Support customer schedules in scheduling repairs and annual requirements.
• Maintain records for accountability and to an audit standard.
• Deliver excellent customer service to both internal and external customers.
• Identify safety concerns to Supervisor and other stakeholders.
• Assist in maintaining accurate files and provide documentation to Government Lead when requested.
• Provide required monthly data to Supervisor for reporting purposes.
• Ensure all administrative functions and paperwork are completed on time and in the required format.
• Maintain a clean and safe worksite while performing job duties.

Requirements

• Must have High School Diploma/GED.
• Must have an (active) CLASS C Driver's License or higher.
• Minimum of (1) Year of customer service experience.
