About the position

We are currently hiring for a Day Services Coordinator at Vodec, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities for over 50 years. This full-time position offers a starting pay of $15.50 per hour and includes a $1,000 hiring bonus. The Day Services Coordinator will work Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm, assisting consumers in our day program. The role involves completing comprehensive assessments, developing individual support plans, and following up on daily service plans to ensure that each consumer achieves maximum independence and success in the community. As a Day Services Coordinator, you will implement consumer treatment plans, which are designed to enhance the lives of individuals served by Vodec. Your responsibilities will include providing a supportive environment where individuals can socialize with peers, participate in community events, and achieve their individualized goals. You will also administer medications, provide personal care, and help consumers develop daily living skills, nutrition awareness, and health and safety practices. Responsibilities

  • Assist consumers with intellectual and developmental disabilities in the day program.
  • Complete comprehensive assessments and individual support plans.
  • Follow up on daily service plans to ensure consumer success.

  • Provide a supportive environment for individuals to socialize and achieve their goals.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Valid Driver's License required.
  • 1 year of direct support experience preferred.
  • Must be 19 years of age or older.
  • Ability to pass an extensive background check, including checks of dependent adult and child abuse registries, and criminal history.

Nice-to-haves
