The Day Program Coordinator at The Center for Disability Services plays a crucial role in providing educational and vocational programming for individuals with disabilities. This position is part of the Adult Services Program, which has been a cornerstone of support for individuals with disabilities in upstate New York for over 80 years. As a Day Program Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing the programming for assigned individuals, working closely with the day program supervisor to establish effective programming and assign staff accordingly. You will function as the team leader for the interdisciplinary team that services each individual on your caseload, ensuring that their unique needs are met through tailored programming. This role also involves participating in all aspects of direct care for assigned individuals as needed, which requires a hands-on approach and a commitment to providing high-quality support. In addition to managing your caseload, you will assist the Directors and Day Program Administrators with the daily organizational needs of the program.
