About The Position

The Day Program Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating various programs within the organization, ensuring that they align with organizational goals and effectively support participants. This role requires a passion for helping others and the ability to manage program initiatives, staff, and resources efficiently.

Requirements

• Experience in caregiving and supporting individuals with diverse needs
• Ability to lift and assist residents as needed
• Knowledge of Resident rights and advocacy principles
• Proficiency in meal preparation and dietary requirements
• Valid driver's license for transportation purposes
• Familiarity with working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities
• Background in childcare or related fields
• Understanding of ADLs (Activities of Daily Living) and direct support techniques
• Competency in monitoring vital signs and health indicators

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and evaluate program activities to ensure alignment with organizational goals
• Provide leadership and guidance to program staff to facilitate the delivery of high-quality services
• Monitor program outcomes and make recommendations for improvements
