About the position
As a Security Officer with Securitas, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the security and safety of property and personnel at our designated location in San Antonio. This position requires a commitment to upholding site-specific policies and procedures while providing outstanding customer service. You will be trained to handle various security-related tasks, including monitoring premises, conducting regular patrols, and responding to emergencies as needed. Your responsibilities will also include maintaining a visible presence to deter potential security breaches and assisting in emergency response activities when necessary. The role demands a proactive approach to security, ensuring that all incidents are reported and documented appropriately. You will be expected to work a full-time schedule, specifically during the day shift, which consists of 12-hour shifts. Responsibilities
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security.
- Provide outstanding customer service to clients and visitors.
- Assist in emergency response activities as needed.
- Document and report any incidents or suspicious activities.
- Enforce site-specific policies and procedures.
- Maintain a visible presence to deter potential security breaches.
Requirements
- Valid Guard Card license (training can be provided).
- High school diploma or GED required.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Stable work history with a reliable resume.
- Customer service experience preferred (1 year).
- Security or related experience preferred (1 year).
- Good communication skills and competent use of smartphones.
- Valid Driver's License preferred.
