About the position

The Personal Care Aide (PCA) position at CareGivers Home Care involves providing essential personal care services to clients in their homes. This role is designed for certified PCAs, HHAs, or CNAs, and offers flexible scheduling to accommodate various availability. The PCA will assist clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and safety while promoting a healthy living environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care services to clients, ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, and meal preparation.
  • Maintain a tidy living environment for clients.
  • Ensure clients follow their medication schedules.
  • Run errands and shop for clients as needed.

Requirements

  • Must be a certified PCA, HHA, or CNA (expired certifications accepted).
  • Must have at least 3 months of previous caregiving experience in the last three years or qualify through a free competency training class.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Must meet health requirements.

  • Ability to learn new recipes and prepare meals for clients.
