About the position

CareGivers Home Care is seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to join our team as Home Care Aides. This position is ideal for certified Personal Care Aides (PCA), Home Health Aides (HHA), or Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) who are looking for flexible work hours and the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of our clients. As a Home Care Aide, you will provide essential personal care and support to clients in their homes, ensuring they feel safe, clean, and comfortable. Your responsibilities will include assisting with personal hygiene, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and medication reminders. You will also have the opportunity to run errands and shop for clients, with mileage paid for travel between clients. We understand the importance of flexibility in your work schedule, which is why we offer various daytime shifts, allowing you to work as little as one shift a week or as many as 40 hours, depending on your availability. Our staff appreciates the ability to tailor their schedules to fit their personal lives while still providing quality care to those in need. Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care to clients, ensuring their safety and comfort.
  • Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, and meal preparation.
  • Maintain a clean and tidy environment for clients.
  • Ensure clients follow their medication schedules and assist with reminders.
  • Run errands and shop for clients as needed, with mileage paid for travel.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and their families regarding care needs.

Requirements

  • Must be a certified PCA, HHA, or CNA.
  • Must have a reliable vehicle and valid driver's license.
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Must meet health requirements and be dependable.

Nice-to-haves

  • Previous caregiving experience of at least 3 months in the last three years.
  • Nursing students may qualify to work as HHAs.
