About the position

The Personal Care Aide (PCA) position at CareGivers Home Care involves providing essential personal care services to clients in their homes. The PCA will assist clients with daily activities, ensuring their safety and well-being while promoting a comfortable living environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care services to clients, ensuring their safety and comfort.
  • Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, and meal preparation.
  • Maintain a tidy living environment for clients to promote health and safety.
  • Administer medication as per the client's schedule and needs.
  • Transport clients to appointments or run errands as required.

Requirements

  • Must be certified as PCA, HHA, or CNA (expired certifications accepted).
  • At least 3 months of previous caregiving experience in the last three years is preferred.
  • Must possess a reliable vehicle and valid driver's license for travel between cases.
  • Must be 18 years or older and meet health requirements.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with meal preparation and cooking for clients.
  • Ability to learn new recipes and adapt to clients' dietary needs.
