About the position

The Assistant Director at Childtime Learning Centers plays a crucial role in the safe and effective operation of the school, working closely with the School Director. This position is responsible for promoting the social, physical, and intellectual growth of children, ensuring compliance with licensing standards, and maintaining a positive and educational environment. The Assistant Director also assists with administrative tasks and is accountable for the school's operations in the Director's absence.

Responsibilities

  • Be accountable for the operation of the school, ensuring compliance with company and state licensing standards.
  • Ensure an educational, caring, and safe environment for children and parents.
  • Spark imagination, build self-esteem, and help children discover new things each day.
  • Promote the positive image of the company and enhance its reputation as a provider of choice in educational programs.
  • Recruit, select, and retain quality staff.
  • Assist in achieving profitability for the company.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Previous management experience required.
  • At least 1 year of experience working in a licensed child care facility.
  • High School diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Must meet state requirements for education and additional center/school requirements may apply.
