Responsibilities

• Plan games and activities that are developmentally appropriate.
• Design and facilitate an engaging daily and weekly schedule.
• Provide basic care and caregiving activities.
• Support co-teacher in evaluating children to ensure they are reaching developmental milestones.
• Communicate effectively and professionally with parents about their children's activities.

Requirements

• CPR Certification
• Daycare First Aid Certification
• 1 year of experience in a related field
• Strong communication skills
• Teaching skills
• Time management skills

Nice-to-haves

• Previous experience as a daycare Assistant Teacher or as a babysitter/nanny
• Strong understanding of child development or an enthusiastic interest in learning
• Excellent organizational skills
