About the position

The Daycare Assistant Teacher position is a part-time role focused on providing care and educational support to children in a daycare setting. The ideal candidate will work three days a week, specifically on Monday, Thursday, and Friday, from 1 PM to 6 PM. This role requires a passion for working with children and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the daily care and supervision of children in the daycare.
• Implement educational activities and programs for children.
• Ensure a safe and nurturing environment for all children.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's progress.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the daycare space.

Requirements

• 1 year of childcare experience (required).
• 1 year of teaching experience (preferred).
• Current CPR certification (required).
• Current First Aid certification (required).
• Child Development Associate Certification (preferred).

Nice-to-haves

• Ability to relocate to Alvarado, TX before starting work (preferred).
