About the position

Little Me with Daycare is seeking part-time daycare nannies to provide attentive and compassionate care to children in a nurturing environment. The role involves creating and implementing age-appropriate activities, maintaining communication with parents, and ensuring the health and safety of all children. This position is ideal for individuals who love working with children and want to make a significant impact in their lives.

Responsibilities

• Prepare bottles for feeding and clean all bottle parts after feeding.
• Knowledgeable on proper feeding positions for infants.
• Understand appropriate wake times and sleeping schedules for infants.
• Follow state and ICCP safe sleep guidelines.
• Maintain healthy and professional relationships with all children, parents, and other teachers.
• Collaborate with other teachers/staff/nannies as needed.
• Maintain a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and safety standards.
• Provide attentive and compassionate care to children in a childcare setting.
• Create a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow.
• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and educational programs.
• Foster social, emotional, and cognitive development through play and structured learning.
• Maintain open and effective communication with parents/guardians regarding their child's progress.
• Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children in your care.
• Follow all licensing regulations and maintain proper documentation.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Driver's License
• Experience with children
• Pediatric CPR and First Aid certification (or ability to obtain)
• Ability to pass an enhanced background check through Health and Welfare.
