The Daycare Teacher at Discovery Children's Academy is responsible for providing high-quality childcare in a nurturing and engaging environment. Responsibilities

• Create a clean and safe classroom environment.
• Implement and adapt the provided curriculum to meet the needs of the children.
• Maintain appropriate logs and ensure compliance with quality care standards.
• Engage in physical activities with children, including lifting and playing.
• Communicate effectively with staff and parents in both verbal and written forms.
• Participate in staff recognition events and training sessions.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 1 year experience working in a childcare center.
• Ability to pass a national criminal background check.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Professional and positive attitude.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Quality Care is a plus.
• Ability to drive a small bus is a huge plus.
• Outgoing personality with a sense of humor.
• Ability to multitask effectively.
