The Daycare Teacher at Primrose School of Shawnee plays a crucial role in fostering a safe and engaging learning environment for young children. This position involves implementing the Balanced Learning® curriculum, building relationships with children, and encouraging their development through purposeful play and exploration. The teacher will work collaboratively with a co-teacher to create a nurturing atmosphere that promotes curiosity, creativity, and a love for learning.

Responsibilities

• Create a fun and safe environment for children.
• Implement lesson plans from the Balanced Learning® curriculum.
• Maintain a well-kept classroom that encourages exploration and decision-making.
• Build genuine relationships with each child.
• Help children develop motor skills and vocabulary through daily activities.

Requirements

• Classroom experience in early childhood education.
• Ability to foster curiosity and creativity in children.
• Strong communication skills to build relationships with children and parents.
