About the position

The Daycare Teacher at Agape Learning Academy LLC is responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for toddlers and preschool-aged children. This role involves developing age-appropriate lesson plans, supervising children, and fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with young children and a background in childcare.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that engage children in learning through play.
• Supervise and ensure the safety of children at all times.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively, using positive reinforcement techniques.
• Foster a supportive and inclusive environment for all children, including those with special needs.
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the classroom.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers to create a cohesive learning experience.
• Observe and assess children's development, adjusting activities as necessary to meet individual needs.

Requirements

• Previous experience in childcare or as a nanny is preferred.
• Familiarity with preschool or toddler care practices is highly desirable.
• Strong behavior management skills to effectively guide children's actions.
• Experience working with students who have special education needs is a plus.
• Ability to provide infant care when necessary.
• Excellent communication skills to interact positively with children, parents, and colleagues.
• A genuine passion for teaching and nurturing young minds.
• Relevant certifications in early childhood education or related fields are advantageous.
