About the position
The Daycare Teacher at Primrose School of Pflugerville is responsible for providing high-quality care and education to young children in a family-run preschool environment. Responsibilities
- Prepare for lessons and activities using the provided curriculum.
- Keep children safe at school by reinforcing classroom rules and expectations.
- Provide supervision outside on the playground.
- Lead music time, read stories, and conduct art activities with students.
- Communicate with parents through conversations, messaging, and sharing pictures of their child's day.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience working with children, preferably in a formal school setting or childcare/daycare center.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
- Ability to communicate in English, including reading, writing, and speaking.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in childcare/daycare for at least 1 year is preferred.
- Previous experience as a preschool teacher, infant caregiver, toddler teacher, nanny, or babysitter.
